It is our goal to breed for a better future with both health, temperament and structure. With this our program follows Australian Shepherd standards of Tail Docking, in addition to this, we also remove dew claws. These are done by a professional vet, in a clinic at the appropriate age.
All pups and dogs will come with appropriately aged vaccines and deworming (if puppy is going home at 8 weeks this includes: first round of shots, four rounds of deworming and a wellness check). If you are getting a puppy from us that is older than 8 weeks, vaccines will be continued at the appropriate ages. Price will reflect the costs of proper care of pups as they get older.
It is the new Owner’s responsibility to do a wellness check and continue vaccinations with their preferred vet at appropriate ages. We do have a 1 year genetic guarantee for our pups. All of this is included in our Puppy Contracts, which are available for viewing on this website.
At this time we are not giving out Breeding Rights to anyone. We acknowledge that we are still in the learning process of this journey and do not want to make any decisions without proper education and understanding. Existing programs may inquire, but we are not guaranteeing anything.
We reserve the right to refuse to sell a puppy or dog to anyone for any reason. We are in this for the best interest in our puppies and dogs.
All Applicants must be over the age of 18 and have no intentions of buying another animal within six months of purchasing one of SHP’s pups.
All deposits are non-refundable.
Full refunds are pendent on situation and approval.
SHP does not sell based off of coloration alone. Personality, gender preferences, and family lifestyle is taken into consideration. Some puppies may not be available until 4 to 6 weeks of age, pending if we plan to hold a puppy back or not. This gives us enough time to get to know our pups and learn what they might need in a family. It also gives us a chance to learn more about potential families and Partners. This process helps us better match the right pup with the perfect family.
Selections will happen in order of deposits received. A male and a female deposit list will be available. It is not pair specific, so if there is paws on the ground, you will have an opportunity to make a selection. If you pass on one litter, the next litter will be available to you in the same order as deposits where received.
Deposit holders will be notified when puppies are born and what genders are available. Potential Partners/families are welcome to follow us on social media and watch our pups grow up. At 4 to 6 weeks when puppies have been selected, families will receive an update weekly about their pup with photos/videos.
After 6 week appointment/first round of shots, arrangements will be made for when puppy will be picked up. Puppies will not go home before 8 weeks of age. Puppies need this time with their mom and siblings to learn valuable skills in how to be a well rounded dog and prevent behavioral problems in the future.
Full price is due before puppy is picked up. Approved forms of payment are only accepted as detailed in the contracts.
